Avocado Dip / Guacamole

Mexico

Ingredients:

2 small roma tomatoes finely chopped (optional)

2 ripe large avocados (Hass are recomended)

¼ cup white onion finely chopped

1 cup of fresh Coriander (cilantro) finely chopped

½ of a lime (juice)

¼ teaspoon of salt

1 green chili pepper (Serrano pepper)

Procedure

Cut the avocados in half and scoop out with a spoon. Coarsely mash the avocado. Add the chopped tomatoes, coriander, onion, and pepper and mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Add lime juice and salt to taste.

Do not omit the fresh coriander and lime. Without it you will not have Guacamole, just mashed avocado with onions and tomatoes.

Serve it with plenty tortilla chips.
