Pasta a la Karin

Germany

Ingredients:

8 slices of bacon

1 stem of leek

2 medium size and firm zucchinis

100 grams grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup of heavy cream or cooking cream

1 package of Ziti or desired Pasta (approx. 454 grams)

Procedure:

In a saucepan bring the bacon to fry, let it cool down, cut it into small pieces, discard the fat from the bacon using a paper towel. Reserve the bacon.

Cook the Ziti “al dente” and in the meanwhile cut the leek and sauté with zucchinis previously peeled and cut. Add the heavy cream into the pan followed by bacon, leek and zucchinis, and the Pasta, gently mix all the ingredients and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
