Sam’ s Recipe

Ingredients: 1 tin of chick peas 1 clove of garlic Pinch of salt Pinch of black pepper 1/4 teaspoon of cumin 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper 2 tablespoons of tahini Juice of half a lemon
Procedure Drain chickpeas but keep water they are in, place in a bowl, add salt, pepper, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, cayenne, and tahini, add about 2 tablespoons of the drained water from the chickpeas Use hand blender to blend all ingredients together. Add extra drained water to make thinner if it's a bit thick. Sprinkle extra cayenne on top to make pretty, refrigerate until needed, serve with vegetables, bread, pitta which ever you would like! You can add a tablespoon of pesto to this before blending for Pesto Hummus You can add a roasted peeled pepper before blending for red pepper hummus You can add 6 drained sundried tomatoes before blending for Tomato hummus You can add drained jalapeños about 10 slices for jalapeño hummus You can try different additions it's very versatile, Roasted onions, Harissa paste, Extra lemon and fresh coriander
